Plan to attend the main upgrade presentation on Monday September 20 (S317723) at Oracle OpenWorld and learn how we helped one of our customers successfully complete a zero downtime Siebel upgrade to version 8.1.1. This incredible project should have take 18 months but was completed in just 6 months! This is our second zero downtime upgrade to Siebel 8.x.

We have two exciting Siebel presentations this year at Collaborate ’09. The first will cover lessons learned on several Siebel 8.0 upgrades. We are heading back to NorCal Training Day to present on Siebel upgrades. This year’s presentation will cover lessons learned from six (6) Siebel 8.0 upgrades PPS has helped with. After presenting the #1 and #2 highest attended Siebel sessions at OpenWorld last year we are taking a break from the presentation track this year but will still be attending. As Siebel users we need to get used to the idea of the Oracle Applications User Group or OAUG being part of our lives.
